The Firefly Players are dedicated to enriching the lives of children through inclusive, non-pretentious live theater performed outdoors. We offer wholesome, classic entertainment and positive messages, with the aim to encourage imaginative play, connect kids to nature, and provide an unforgettable experience for every child.

Everett calls Memphis, Tennessee home and recently moved from Phoenix, Arizona.
He enjoys writing, film and reading.

Annika Joy Sorensen

Margaret is from Bemidji, Minnesota, and loves being outside, crafting, road trips, singing with friends, and exploring the Twin Cities! FIREFLY PLAYERS Debut. Jocely Hunt

Jocelyn is originally from Berea, Kentucky; but has made her home in Savage, Minnesota. She enjoys dancing, going on walks, and doing Bible studies with friends. FIREFLY PLAYERS Debut. THEATER Twin Cities Homeschoolers for the Arts: Cinderella; Hello, Dolly!; Comedy of Errors; Bright Star. FILM My Seven Grandmas. AWARDS Minnesota Federation of Music Clubs: Superior Rating of Violin Solo (2020-2024). TRAINING Twin Cities Homeschoolers for the Arts classes: Choir and Theater, Violin Instruction with Joy Ray, Dance Instruction with Duayne Wincell, Prairie School of Dance.

Noah Phillips

Noah Phillips

Noah was homeschooled by his parents and just graduated in the spring. He loves to read and play music. When he was 6 his mom started teaching him piano and over the next several years that was the only instrument that he played. When he turned 12 he decided that he wanted to be done with piano and move on to something else. He took drum lessons for a couple years and then at the age of 15 he picked up his first string instrument. With a base of music theory from piano he was able to teach himself guitar, mandolin, banjo and bass guitar.  Noah has been in many high school musicals that were put on by TCHA. THEATER Fiddler on the Roof, Hello Dolly, and Cinderella.
He loves sharing his talents through music and acting.

Firefly players was founded by educators C.J. and Rebecca Sorensen who have been making theater for students and young people for almost 2o years and live right here in Eagan where they both work for District 196.
